Using bycaptur.io responsibly
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") sets out the standards of conduct expected from all users of the bycaptur.io platform, website, and services operated by Lion Tech Group Pty Ltd ("bycaptur.io"). This policy applies in addition to our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
bycaptur.io is an AI-powered marketing platform designed to help businesses grow. We are committed to maintaining a safe, lawful, and trustworthy environment for all users. Misuse of the platform harms our community and undermines the purpose of the product.
Violation of this policy may result in immediate suspension or permanent termination of your account without refund, and may be reported to relevant authorities where required by law.
02 — Content
Prohibited content
You must not create, upload, publish, or distribute any content through bycaptur.io that:
Content that violates any applicable law, regulation, or court order, including content that facilitates fraud, identity theft, financial crime, or any other illegal activity.
Content that defames, harasses, intimidates, or discriminates against any person or group on the basis of race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or other protected characteristics.
False, misleading, or deceptive advertising, testimonials, pricing claims, or representations that violate Australian Consumer Law or other applicable consumer protection laws.
Content that infringes any copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, or other intellectual property right of any third party.
Viruses, trojans, spyware, or any other malicious or harmful code designed to damage, disrupt, or gain unauthorised access to systems or data.
Content promoting or facilitating illegal weapons sales, controlled substances without proper licences, adult content involving minors, human trafficking, or other prohibited activities.
03 — Conduct
Prohibited conduct
In addition to content restrictions, the following conduct is prohibited on the bycaptur.io platform:
Attempting to reverse engineer, decompile, scrape, or exploit the platform or its underlying technology; conducting penetration testing without prior written authorisation from bycaptur.io.
Using bycaptur.io to send unsolicited bulk emails, SMS, or other communications to individuals who have not given their consent to receive them in accordance with applicable spam laws.
Impersonating bycaptur.io, another user, a business, or any other person or entity, or falsely claiming affiliation with any person or organisation.
Sharing login credentials with unauthorised parties, or reselling or sublicensing access to the platform without bycaptur.io's express written consent.
Attempting to bypass, disable, or circumvent any security feature, rate limit, access control, or usage restriction of the platform.
Collecting, scraping, or harvesting personal data from the platform or other users without authorisation, or using automated tools to extract data at scale.
04 — AI tools
Responsible AI usage
bycaptur.io's AI tools are designed to assist with legitimate marketing and business purposes. The following additional rules apply to use of bycaptur.io's AI features:
You are responsible for reviewing all AI-generated content before publishing or distributing it. Do not publish content that is inaccurate, misleading, or in breach of any applicable law.
Do not use AI tools to generate content intended to manipulate, deceive, or psychologically exploit consumers, including fake reviews, fabricated testimonials, or deceptive social proof.
Do not input prompts designed to generate harmful, offensive, discriminatory, or illegal content, or to circumvent the platform's content safety measures.
Do not use AI tools to reproduce, closely imitate, or infringe the creative works, brand identity, or intellectual property of third parties.
bycaptur.io's AI tools include safety measures to prevent misuse. Attempting to circumvent these measures is a violation of this policy and our Terms of Service.
05 — Enforcement
How we enforce this policy
We take violations of this policy seriously. Depending on the nature and severity of the violation, we may take the following actions:
For minor or first-time violations, we may issue a warning and require you to correct the issue within a specified timeframe.
We may remove content that violates this policy without prior notice where we determine it poses an immediate risk.
We may temporarily suspend your account while we investigate a suspected violation or pending remediation of an identified issue.
Serious or repeated violations may result in permanent termination of your account without refund. We may also report violations to law enforcement or regulatory authorities where required.
We will act in good faith when enforcing this policy and will endeavour to notify you of any action taken against your account where it is safe and appropriate to do so.
06 — Reporting
Reporting violations
If you become aware of any content or conduct on the bycaptur.io platform that you believe violates this policy, please report it to us promptly. We investigate all reports and take appropriate action.
To report a suspected violation, email support@captur.com.au with the subject line "AUP Report" and provide as much detail as possible about the violation, including any relevant screenshots or links.
We treat all reports confidentially and will not disclose the identity of the reporting party without consent, except where required by law.
